Biner Journal of Social Science (BJSS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. The archive policy guarantees that every article remains securely stored and permanently accessible for research, education, and academic reference purposes.

1. Permanent Archiving

  • All articles published in BJSS are permanently stored on the official journal server and in secure digital archiving platforms.
  • BJSS ensures that every article remains freely accessible to researchers, academics, and the global public without subscription fees.
  • Regular backups are performed to maintain data integrity and prevent content loss.

2. Digital Preservation

  • BJSS collaborates with reliable digital archiving services to ensure long-term accessibility of all journal content.
  • Articles are stored in PDF/A format, which meets international digital preservation standards, ensuring readability and access regardless of future technological changes.

3. Indexing and Accessibility

  • All BJSS articles are indexed in leading academic databases and directories to increase visibility and dissemination.
  • Published articles remain accessible via the official BJSS website, academic search engines, and scholarly repositories.
  • A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is assigned to each article to guarantee permanent identification and easy citation.

4. Open Access Archiving

  • As a fully open access journal, BJSS ensures that all articles can be freely downloaded, read, and reused under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.
  • This policy allows articles to be used for research, teaching, and scholarly purposes as long as proper attribution is given.

5. Retention of Back Issues

  • All past BJSS issues are permanently archived and fully accessible to the public.
  • Articles from previous issues retain their DOI and can be cited to support ongoing research.
  • No articles are removed over time, ensuring the long-term availability of research content.

6. Editorial and Publisher Responsibility

  • The publisher, Yayasan Leibniz Biner Nusantara, is responsible for maintaining the security, integrity, and accessibility of journal content.
  • The editorial team manages electronic archives, updates metadata, and maintains DOIs for all articles.
  • Published content will not be deleted or permanently altered except in cases requiring a retraction or corrigendum following publication ethics.

7. Backup and Disaster Recovery

  • BJSS implements regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect journal content from technical failures, system errors, or natural disasters.
  • Journal data are stored in multiple server locations to ensure uninterrupted content availability.

8. User Access and Preservation

  • Users can access the complete journal archive without registration or fees.
