Author Guidelines

Biner Journal of Social Science (BJSS) welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers from researchers, academics, practitioners, and students that align with the journal’s focus and scope. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

1. General Requirements

• Manuscripts may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
• All submissions must be scholarly, relevant, and written in clear academic language.
• All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review.
• Authors must submit a declaration of originality and non-plagiarism.

2. Article Structure

Manuscripts should follow the structure below:

1. Title
   Clear and concise, maximum 14 words (English) or 16 words (Bahasa Indonesia).
2. Author(s) and Affiliation
   Full name(s) without academic degrees, including institutional affiliation and corresponding email.
3. Abstract
• Written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (maximum 200 words each).
• Includes research purpose, method, main findings, and conclusion.
• Accompanied by 3–5 keywords.
4. Introduction
   Outlines the background, rationale, research problems, and objectives.
5. Research Method
   Describes the approach, type of data, data collection techniques, and analysis methods.
6. Results and Discussion
   Presents the findings clearly and discusses them in light of relevant literature or theories.
7. Conclusion and Suggestions
   Summarizes the key findings and implications. Do not repeat results.
8. References
   Use APA Style (7th Edition) consistently, generated using citation tools (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero).

3. Formatting Guidelines

• Manuscript length: 5,000–7,500 words, including references.
• Paper size: A4; margins 3 cm (top-left), 2.5 cm (bottom-right).
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.
• Tables and figures should be numbered, titled clearly, and include sources if applicable.

4. Publication Ethics

• All cited sources must be properly referenced.
• Plagiarism and duplicate submission are strictly prohibited.
• Authors are fully responsible for the content and originality of the manuscript.
• Any conflicts of interest or funding must be disclosed.

5. Submission Procedure

• Authors must register and log in to the BJSS online submission system at:
  https://journal.leibnizbinernusantara.com/index.php/BJSS/
• All manuscripts must be submitted via the OJS (Open Journal System).
• Authors must use the official BJSS article template, available on the website.

6. Publication Fees

Currently, BJSS does not charge any submission
