An Analysis of the Theory of Truth in Philosophy Regarding the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) Policy

This paper analyzes the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) policy through the perspective of truth theory in philosophy, which includes the theories of correspondence, coherence, pragmatism, and consensus. This study aims to assess the validity and effectiveness of the policy through various perspectives, related to conformity with empirical data, system consistency with other policies, real benefits for the community, and the level of agreement between stakeholders. The method used in this study is a literature study and analysis of truth theory applied to social policy in Indonesia. The research findings show that the success of the policy is influenced by conformity with field data, integration between policies, real positive impacts on children's health, and consensus support from various parties involved. This study recommends strengthening empirical data, increasing collaboration between institutions, optimizing implementation, and actively engaging the public to enhance the legitimacy and sustainability of the Free Nutritious Meals policy. These findings contribute to theory and practice for the development of evidence-based public policy and social consensus.
